Frontiersman's Shirt Pattern

$10.99USD
SKU: 4799-600-063

This pattern is taken directly from an old original shirt in a private collection. It is a mid to late 1800s style with fringe and tailoring reminiscent of the early reservation days, Jeremiah Johnson and Buffalo Bill Cody. With the optional pockets, hidden by the front fringe, it is sure to be a favorite at rendezvous and pow wows.

The Frontiersman's Shirt has a two piece tailored collar and cuffs lined with calico. The front opening has a placket and thong ties, and the shirt may be made with or without the fringe. It may be decorated with beadwork, quillwork or other western ornamentation.

Included is an extensive section on "Working with Leather" and a complete glossary of terms used in the pattern. The pattern comes in sizes Small (36) through XX-Large (50).

As with all of our patterns, the explicit instructions make it easy for anyone to complete this most attractive shirt.
